I know what you’re already thinking. Why on Earth would you learn to make your own Yum Yum sauce? Well, it is because my husband cannot have regular sauces that have dairy in them. I also am EXTREMELY picky about Yum Yum Sauce. If it has a mayonnaise taste to it, that’s a hard no for me! I like mine to have more of a ginger taste. So I started playing with ingredients and created a 6-Ingredient Yum Yum Sauce recipe!

Is It That Simple to Make?

It is INCREDIBILY easy to make. You literally measure out 1 cup of mayonnaise first in a bowl. Next, add 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder, 1/2 teaspoon onion powder, 1/2 teaspoon of Paprika, 1 teaspoon of ground ginger, 2 tablespoons of water, and 1.5 tablespoons of sugar. Use a whisk to mix it together. Wah-la! That’s it! Refrigerate any left overs! It’s the perfect addition to any Asian dinner night!

Variations

If you would like a thinner sauce, add another tablespoon of water to the mixture. If you would like more of a sour taste instead of a sweet taste, use fresh ginger, and only use 1 tablespoon of sugar. It’s very delicious either way!
